A: Since accounts are created automatically from the email address used when sending your payment, first make sure you are checking that email account, including the spam folder, for an email with your login details at the time you purchased. If you received no such email, you can first attempt to reset your password using the following link: https://simpleyear.co/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword. If you do not receive the email after submitting your email address, then you may be having issues receiving emails from SimpleYear.co. In that case, please email email@example.com and request your login information.
A: First, double-check the username, as it is automatically generated based on the email address used when sending your payment, but it may not be the same as your email address (most usernames are automatically created replacing the @ and . with _ in the email address).Second, if you requested your access information shortly after purchase and are having trouble logging in sometime after, you may have found your original login information email. When requesting your login information from support, a new password must be generated in order for support to send it to you, so this would not be the same as the original password you should have received automatically when purchasing.
If neither of these are the case, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know you’re having trouble logging in with your current login information and we can reset it and send you new access information that should work.
Q: I was able to log in, but when I try to access the Dashboard, it tells me I have the wrong membership level. Please help!
A: Please email email@example.com and let us know. We will look into it for you!
Q: I am not receiving any emails regarding the course. Please help!
A. Your email subscription to the course should be created from the same email address you used when making your purchase. If you are not receiving emails, one of three things may be happening:
- Your email provider may be filtering the emails as spam. You can search on Google for your email provider + “whitelist email address” and you should find resources on how you can add firstname.lastname@example.org as a whitelisted email address, which should prevent this from happening for future emails.
- Your email subscription account may have an issue, such as a previous unsubscription to a related email list. We would need to reset your email subscription account in this case, so if you have tried whitelisting email@example.com and are still not receiving course-related emails, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and we can reset your subscription account.
- You may have made a typo on your email address when making your purchase (you likely would not have received your access information to the course as well if this happened). We can resolve this if you email email@example.com. We may ask for a few details to confirm your purchase if we are unable to locate the purchase.
Q: I am receiving the emails for the course, but I purchased it as a gift for someone else. How can I change the email address on the account to theirs?
A. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know the giftee’s full name and email address and we can create their membership and email subscription accounts and remove yours.
If you are the giftee and want to make sure you receive your own account, please have the purchaser email email@example.com as we would need to confirm that the purchaser has purchased A Simple Year as a gift for you and we can then take care of creating your account.
Q: I’ve tried resetting my account password, but I never receive the email to reset it after I submit my email address. Please help!
A. First, you can try to whitelist firstname.lastname@example.org with your email provider or email program (you can search on Google for the provider/program and “whitelist email address” to find resources to guide you on how to do this). Once you do this, try to go through the reset password process again.
If you still don’t receive the email, please email email@example.com. If you are simply trying to get access to your account rather than choose a specific password, we’ll be able to set your password and email it to you. If you are trying to set a specific password, we can work through steps to get the reset password process working for you.
Q: How come my Facebook group request hasn’t been accepted yet?
A. If the name you used when purchasing is different than what shows in Facebook – even if only part of the name is different, we won’t recognize you as a member. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if that’s the case, let us know what your Facebook name is and we will approve your request. The 2019 Facebook group will not be available until December for early registrations.
Q: I have an issue not listed above. What should I do?
A: Please email email@example.com and provide us with as many details as you can and we’d be happy to help!
